We built it for ourselves. Now it's yours.

BoardStack, the reference canvas this studio runs on, is out. Lite is free. Pro is $29 at launch.

Every project here starts the same way: hundreds of references, renders, and frames that need to be seen TOGETHER before anything gets made. For years we fought that fight with folders, viewers, and tools that treated images like files instead of ideas. So we built our own.

BoardStack is an infinite canvas for real work: drop hundreds of images and videos on it at once (our stress test was a 282-video drop), arrange them like thoughts instead of filenames, and then, this is the part that matters, act on the real files. Cull the losers to the Trash with undo. Rename keepers on disk. Export a PDF slide sorter or a one-file HTML review page a client can open anywhere. Your board is a plain JSON file you can read, version, and keep forever. No cloud, no account, no subscription.

It has been our daily driver for a long time. Every feature exists because a real deadline demanded it, and everything it culls, renames, or ships is a real file on a real disk, because that is where our work lives too.

It has actually been out since late July. Lite went up quietly, Pro followed a few days later, and I never said a word about it here. Consider this the proper introduction.

Here is what that means:

  • BoardStack Lite is free. The full canvas experience, no strings, notarized for Apple Silicon. Download it here.
  • BoardStack Pro is $29, one time, at launch. The file-touching muscle: cull, rename, merge, PDF and web exports, publishing. One license covers 5 Macs. The price goes up at 1.1, so early is the good time.
  • Sold from this site, by us. There is a 14-day no-questions refund, because software you have not lived with yet should not be a gamble.

We are a working studio first, and this is the first tool from our shelf to ship into the world. There are more up there. If BoardStack finds its people, they will follow.

If you make things out of hundreds of pictures, we built this for you. Go get it.
